Date Night

We had our first "official" date night through our daycare provider. We got P all ready to go in her pjs. The best thing about this kind of "Parents Night Out" is that everything is provided by Donna. She's got the whole daycare set-up with toys, activities, her diapers, and she even provided dinner for the kids. What a deal! We had 4 hours of freedom!

Even P seemed to think that something special was happening. As we drove out to SLO, she was happily singing in her car seat and reading her book.

We had a lovely dinner (although finding a place was a hassle--we never seem to have luck with being spontaneous when it comes to eating out) and had a nice time to wander around downtown and even sit and have a chance to talk and check in with each other.

This is the first time we've been able to take advantage of Donna's "Parents Night Out", and you bet that we will take advantage of the next time...in fact, we can't wait!
